On Tuesday night, Amy Duggar is set to play a pretty significant role on “19 Kids and Counting” courtesy of her story being told to a greater degree — but before we even get to that, the cousin of the Duggar family proper got the opportunity to explain some recent headlines about her on “The Today Show.”
Speaking about an extortion plot that actually featured some rather-innocent photos of her with another musician getting sold to the tabloids getting sold to the tabloids, Duggar proclaimed that she not only did nothing wrong, but has no relationship with the woman responsible for sending threats to TLC’s parent company with the photos in hand:
“I’ve never met her … I don’t know anything really about her at all…. Those (photos) are from my Facebook account. I posted those. My grandma is the one that actually took those photos.”
The entire family is now apparently laughing off the photos — along with the rather ridiculous scandal that came with it.
Do you think Amy has the right idea here?
