Fans of ABC’s The Bachelor 2012 have seen that the ladies this season are playing for keeps when it comes to Ben Flajnik, and the competition is said to get even more fierce in the weeks ahead. Monday night fans learned that the next stop on this tour of crazy is Puerto Rico, and everybody is anxious for The Bachelor spoilers. While Reality Steve spoilers are a bit hazy on this particular episode, they can be paired with ABC’s Tuesday press release and some intel from the Bach and Bachette Fans forums to put together a pretty solid look at Episode 1605 airing January 30, 2012 (on channel 15 in Scottsdale).
The Bachelor 2012 spoilers for this week indicate that Ben Flajnik has one-on-one dates with fan favorite Nicki Sterling and the less endearing Elyse Myers. There is also one group date, but this week nobody is left out from the action. Ultimately two women are left without roses, but it isn’t going to be smooth sailing for the ladies this week, as there is clearly plenty of drama ahead. ABC and Reality Steve The Bachelor spoilers share that Nicki gets the first one-on-one date, where she and Ben take a helicopter to the mainland and have a tour of Old San Juan. They get caught in a thunderstorm and have to change into local garb, and they run into a local wedding. Nicki opens up to Ben about her “painful past” over dinner, and she gets a rose.
The group date takes the group to the Roberto Clemente Baseball Stadium. The ladies are pitted against one another and the winners get an after-party with Ben while the losing team goes back to the hotel. Ben gets to assign one lady the title of “MVP,” where she gets to play on both teams and is guaranteed a spot at the after-party. Momoftrips at the Bach and Bachette Fans forum studied the ABC promo photos and shared that the blue team consists of Blakeley, Rachel, Emily and Jennifer while the red team has Courtney, Jamie, Kacie and Casey. Lindzi is the MVP, and the red team wins. ABC teases that the game gets “rabidly competitive,” and “one devastated woman strikes out” and causes her team to lose. This time Scottsdale native Courtney Robertson does NOT get the group date rose, but ABC says she “steals the show by privately inviting Ben to a secret rendezvous.” Thanks to San’s screencaps at the Bach and Bachette Fan forums, it appears that Kacie Boguskie finally gets the group date rose, and fans are thrilled.
Elyse Myers gets the other one-on-one date, and they have an ocean tour on a luxury yacht. ABC says that Elyse opens up and lets her walls down, telling Ben she really wants to give up the single life and get married. There is a great deal of speculation that Elyse gets sent home on this one-on-one date, based on in-depth analysis over at the Bach and Bachette Fans forums of screencaps. It appears that the ladies are shocked, perhaps at Elyse’s luggage being picked up, and that Ben tosses a rose into a fire. It doesn’t seem absolutely certain that Elyse is sent home at this point, but it seems likely.
When Ben returns to the hotel, Courtney Robertson is secretly waiting for him. At her suggestion they do go skinny dipping, which fans have seen via the previews all season. It doesn’t sound like anybody catches them at the time, but viewers know that Courtney isn’t about to keep such a major development to herself. ABC teases that “another dramatic cocktail party has Ben’s secret playmate, Courtney, toying with the other women about her skinny dipping adventure.” Fans know that things are still quite rocky between Emily and Courtney, and there is said to be “a shocker waiting at the rose ceremony.” That one is still a mystery, and The Bachelor spoilers are hazy when it comes to who heads home at this point. ABC says that nine ladies head to Panama City the following week, so IF Elyse was sent home on her date, that means one more heads home at the rose ceremony.
Reality Steve feels pretty confident that both Jamie Otis and Jennifer Fritsch are sent packing this week, but the ladies at the Bach and Bachette forums are certain Jamie stays. They have screencaps they feel certain show Jamie in Panama in Episode 6, and many are betting they are right. If the departure is a shocker, many think that means Jennifer Fritsch is left without a rose. With so many details of the season spoiled accurately so far, perhaps it’ll be fun for fans to have a bit of mystery ahead for the coming week.
Tune in Monday, January 30, 2012 to see what goes down in Puerto Rico with Ben Flajnik, Courtney Robertson and the rest of the ladies. ABC’s The Bachelor 2012 airs on channel 15 in the Scottsdale area beginning at 7 p.m.
