Fans were glued to their television sets for ABC’s The Bachelor 2012 premiere episode Monday night. Ben Flajnik met 25 bachelorettes, and narrowed the field down to 18. There was drama, there were tears, and there is a lot more to come this season. While ABC packed plenty into the first episode, fans are already anxious to know what will happen next week when the dates begin (airing on channel 15 in Scottsdale). Luckily, Reality Steve is back this season with plenty of spoilers, and his Monday blog post teased all the awesome happenings viewers will see in the January 9, 2012 episode.
In a franchise first, the ladies will never move into the huge Los Angeles mansion this year on ABC’s The Bachelor 2012. They all head straight to Sonoma, CA where Ben Flajnik makes his home. There will be two one-on-one dates, and one group date with 12 of the bachelorettes. First up in Episode 2 is cutie Kacie Boguskie. Kacie and Ben have a fun, easy date of watching home movies of one another. Ben and Kacie also go shopping in town, and Reality Steve spoilers indicate she buys a baton and shows off her twirling skills from when she was a majorette in college. Kacie gets a rose.
Ben takes 12 of the ladies to audition for a theater production that is run entirely by kids. Steve didn’t spoil exactly which 12 ladies go on this date, but the photo at Sonoma News gives fan a way to figure most of them out. Clearly Nicki, Rachel, Jamie and Shawn are there, and it appears Emily, Casey, Jenna, Monica, Jennifer, Jaclyn, Brittney and Blakeley are there as well. Steve didn’t share any scoop about who got the group date rose, if there was one, or any drama on the date, so fans will have to stay tuned for that one.
Scottsdale native Courtney Robertson also gets a one-on-one with Ben Flajnik in The Bachelor Episode 2. They are said to have a picnic together, and Ben’s dog Scotchie joins them for a bit. While again details on this date are scarce at this point, it is known that Courtney does get a rose. Two ladies will head home at the rose ceremony and it is said that this time it is crying blogger Jenna Burke, and Phoenix single mom/soccer player Shawn Reynolds.
Which ladies are you rooting for so far on The Bachelor 2012? Do you think Ben Flajnik will find love this season? Tune in Monday night to see if Reality Steve’s spoilers for The Bachelor got it right again. The show airs at 7 p.m. Monday nights on ABC, channel 15 in Scottsdale.
