Getaway day trips to maple syrup festivals, sugar bush forests, and pancake barns are a rite of spring in Canada. A second fun festival Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival takes place in Utopia north of Toronto March 31-April 1, 2012. Tiffin Centre, a Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Association site is the location for the festival. Visitors will learn how maple syrup is made using native, pioneer and modern methods.
