Amazon.com has promised to make a paid app free every day in the Amazon Appstore, and today’s app is Biscuit’s Valentine’s Day.

Biscuit’s Valentine’s Day is priced at $2.99 in the Android Market. It is normally priced at $2.99 in the Amazon Appstore. As we’ve noted previously, prices sometimes differ between the two marketplaces.

The Read to Myself option is best for beginner readers who want to do it all by themselves.

Biscuit’s Valentine’s Day has no ratings in the Android Market because it has only been downloaded 1-5 times, and has not been rated or reviewed. The app was only released on Feb. 7. The app has been rated 44 times in the Amazon Appstore at the time of this writing, though, so we think the rating is probably about right.
It’s a good app for kids ahead of Valentine’s Day.
Those who are considering “buying” a Free Amazon Appstore app might want to consider what it means to developers.
Amazon.com opened up the Appstore despite a lawsuit by Apple, which has previously trademarked the term “App Store.” Microsoft has filed an appeal against that trademark, saying the term is too generic. Amazon.com has responded to the lawsuit in the same manner.
