The CW network has found its young Carrie Bradshaw for The Carrie Diaries!
Actress AnnaSophia Robb will play the coveted role in the network’s pilot in the upcoming prequel to long-running series, Sex and the City. Sarah Jessica Parker made the role of Bradshaw famous in the hit HBO series. The series will take place during the 1980s when Bradshaw was in high school.
Robb has appeared in films like Tim Burton’s remake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Soul Surfer and Bridge to Terabithia. She’s also set to appear as Wendy in the upcoming remake of the popular children’s story Peter Pan.
Also joining The Carrie Diaries is Running Wilde star Stefania Owen, who will play Carrie’s 14-year-old sister in the show.
