Disney’s most loved and treasured film, Beauty & The Beast 3D has finally been released in theaters! This timeless tale brings you the story of Belle, a young lady who wishes for so much more in life. She refuses to marry the arrogant and insistent Gaston, dreams filling her head of a life that she knows awaits her out of the ordinary. Belle, however gets her wish when her father is captured by the monster that lives in the castle in the woods. Upon much pleading, Beast lets her father go, but keeps Belle in his place in this enchanted castle where normally inanimate objects are talkative and muscial. As the shock of being held captive wears off, Belle finally begins to realize that the Beast is not a cruel, vicious monster that every says he is. He is only a gentle giant that only needs a little love and understanding in his life.
This film brings back many memories for me, being that I have watched it countless times as a child. In my opinion, it gives children a little insight into what is truly on the inside of a person, and not on the outside. It is a lesson that many youngsters should learn while in the early developing stages of their lives. Of course for the little girls, this is one of those classics that take them to that faraway land where their prince awaits, and their dreams happen to be right around the corner. I suggest that you call your local theater for showtimes and don’t miss out on this magical adventure in 3D.
