Disney World’s Epcot park is a great place to take a behind the scenes tour because much of Epcot is focused on education and learning about the world. This is the tour that goes through all four of the Disney parks. During your time in Epcot they’ll take you behind the scenes of the World Showcase, with a focus on the American Adventure Pavilion and how that came to be. Current price $229 per person, ages 16 and up.
Around the World at Epcot
If you love Epcot’s World Showcase, imagine touring it in the morning before the parks open and it’s swarmed with people. Now imagine doing that while riding a segway. If that sounds amazing to you, you’ll definitely want to do this tour. You’ll get some training on how to use the segway, time to explore the World Showcase, and a guide who will point out interesting facts. $99 per person, ages 16 and up.
Gardens of the World
Learn how gardeners at Disney take such good care of the flowers and plants around the World during this tour. There is also a behind the scenes portion where you can see gardeners at work. Throughout the tour your guide will offer gardening tips and tricks for your own home gardens. $60 per person, ages 16 and up.
Behind the Seeds at Epcot
This one hour walking tour takes you behind the scenes at the Living with the Land attraction. If you’ve been on the attraction you’ll know a bit about what to expect, but this time you’ll see the plants, animals, and growing techniques up close and personal. $18 (ages 10 and up), $14 (ages 3-9).
Dolphins in Depth
If you’ve ever wanted to see and learn about dolphins up close, this is your chance. In the Seas Pavillion you will be able to talk to and interact with the dolphin trainers, and even enter the water for some personal time with these beautiful creatures. $194 per person, ages 13 and up.
SCUBA-certified guests and experience diving into the tanks at the Seas Pavillion. The total experience lasts about 3 hours, including 40 minutes of diving in the tank among 6,000 different sea creatures. $175 per person, ages 10 and up.
Seas Aqua Tour
Guests interested in experiencing the aquarium that aren’t SCUBA-certified can still swim on the surface and snorkel with this tour. They’ll see a variety of sea creatures and sealife. $140 per person, ages 8 and up.
The UnDISCOVERed Future World
This is the tour to take for die-hard Disney fans that want to know more about Epcot park. Guests will experience a 4 hour tour that will take them backstage to see how Epcot is run. They will learn how Walt originally envisioned the park, how it was created, and how it has grown and changed throughout the years as new technology comes along. $55 per person, ages 16 and up.
