‘Being Human’ on Syfy, which aired February 27, has to be the best episode to date showing what lengths a vampire will go to save face and help a friend.
Sally is being haunted by not only her ex Danny (who is crazy good at the ghost tricks), but also a reaper, who is there to take her away. Apparently the reaper has a quota to fill.
Josh tries to talk some sense into Nora, but she has obviously been influenced by the purebred twins.
Aidan has to take control of his territory, what with werewolves and newbie vampires running amuck and he does this quite effectively.
Wow, is all I can say about this episode. While this season is quite awesome to begin with, episode 7 literally blew me away.
I like how Aidan, took control, showing why so many of the older vamps respect him, even if they don’t respect his choice of roommates or alternative lifestyle choices. He tried to control the wolves, the twins, but they were young and rich, and have always had their way. And apparently no fear of vampires.
Well Aidan changed that real quick by walking up bold as you please and capping the male twin before his sister’s eyes. Josh, looking on well he looked scared at what Aidan had done, but also resolved in the fact that he’d have done the same thing if only to save Nora.
Speaking of Nora, is anyone else sick of how she is turning out to be? I admit, turning wolfy once a month has got to be a major pain, but seriously, she has become influenced by the twins, who have forsaken their humanity and have fully embraced the wolf. Josh was trying to show her a different way that it is ok to still think in human terms. I don’t see this ending well for Nora. Josh loves her, but chances are she and the other female wolf are going to go all Thelma and Louise on the vampires.
Sally, poor Sally. While Aidan and Josh are dealing with the aftermath of what happened, she has her own issues, but doesn’t tell the guys, because saying good bye is ever so hard. Also who knew that reapers were that attractive? He also seems to like Sally, maybe because he no longer sees her as just a quota to fill, but as something interesting. This makes me hopeful that he will stick around more, and not because he is just one more bit of eye-candy, but because I am wondering what Sally is going to be all about?
Overall this episode was solid, and definitely one of my favorites to date. This episode gets an A++.
