Over time the relationships between black men and women have been challenged.
As history has shown us and is still showing us the black family has been and is the focus for destruction. The challenges are becoming more and more dire and in need of some serious attention.
From raising children as a single parent to dating the challenges of black men and black women are not getting any easier.
When it comes to their children there are some men and women who are also single parents that are so focused on finding someone to be with until they are not realizing that their children need them more now than ever.
With a society that is kind to some in a small percentile while the rest are struggling to make ends meet today should be the day where black women and men stand up and realize that the changes, when it comes to preparing themselves and their children for this unkind world, need to be made yesterday.
When it comes to dating in some cases the conversation goes from bad to worse.
There are a lot of individuals that are focused on what someone did or how they treated them. How it’s the other individuals fault that things went bad and the relationship is over.
What if both men and women took responsibility for the choices they make when it comes to the individuals they choose to be in relationships with. What if moving forward they start making better choices?
The divide between black women and men for what ever reason is growing further and further apart. Everyone has their individual reasons for this. But until each one takes personal responsibility for themselves and their actions the divide will only get greater.
