Alright, insert warning here if you’re uncomfortable with the belly-baring waitresses. This is one of those places. But let me tell you, people aren’t just going here for the ladies, the food here is actually really darned good.
Below are some of my favorite menu choices: (don’t let the waitresses distract you from these)
Of course, let’s begin with appetizers, and while doing so, share a couple of witty excerpts from Bone Daddy’s menu: “Starters: Something to do while your meat smokes. Beats sharing your feelings” and the combo appetizer named “Fear of Commitment Sampler”
The sheer wittiness of their menu alone was enough to convince me to give their food a try.
-Daddy’s Smokin’ Tailpipes: smoked brisket, onion, jalapenos, corn, and peppers all wrapped up and deep fried, and served with ranch.
-Hoot n’ Hooty’s Cheese Dip: smoked bacon and roasted pepper queso. (My hubby’s fave.)
Grab a meat platter, and choose from sliced brisket, hot links sausage, peppered turkey breast, pulled pork, maple glazed ham, chopped briskey, bone-in chicken, and grilled chicken wings. Everything I’ve tried so far has been juicy and tender and quite flavorful.
Oh, and how could I forget to mention the side dishes? Pick one of these, and your taste buds will thank you: Famous Skillet-Head Beans, Cheeesy Roadhouse Spuds,Classic Mac ‘n Cheese, Mustard Potato Salad.
The atmosphere at Bone Daddy’s is extremely casual and laidback, the waitstaff attentive and quick (yes, even to girls), prices were fair and portions enormous, and the quality of food did not disappoint. All in all, Bone Daddy’s is a fine spot for barbecue, ribs, and much more.
