This is one of the local’s favorite restaurants. The food is excellent. The dining room is cozy, and the restaurant is well maintained. Happy hour has some great pricing on a variety of drinks. The wine list is extensive, and the bar is always crowded. The bathrooms are nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Though it seems that there are always new faces among them, which might not be a good sign.
The menu is one of great flexibility, you can pick the way you want your fish cooked. You see an item you like but you want chicken instead of shrimp, or you don’t want pepper in your sauce, no problem! Just ask! Favorites are: Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout, Ahi Tuna Sashimi and Diablo Shrimp. The deserts are dangerously good. Prices are moderate if one considers the quality of the food.
There is only one downside to this great restaurant and that is the sometimes very long wait for the food up to one hour and sometimes more, so come early. Later in the evenings there is also often a wait for a table. In these economic times it is great to see a restaurant that is apparently doing well and continues to serve one great dish after another.
