This year, Center City Restaurant Week runs Sun Jan 22 to Fri Jan 27 and Sun Jan 29 to Fri Feb 3. Over 100 restaurants offer 3-course dinners for $35, excluding tax, gratuities and beverages. Although many diners participate, enjoying the bargains and opportunity to try a new restaurant, there are critics who claim RW does not offer a real bargain once you add the cost of drinks, or that the service suffers.
BYO restaurants offer the perfect solution. By bringing your own favorite bottle of wine, diners ensure the total cost per person will be $35. And BYOs are usually known for their cozy, romantic atmosphere and friendly, intimate service, which is no different during Restaurant Week.
Here is a list of BYOs participating in Restaurant Week. So grab a bottle of your favorite red or white and enjoy a delicious meal, at a great price.
