Wilson Phillips singer, Carnie Wilson is still stuggling with being overweight. For Phillips being overweight has been a battle she has fought her entire life.
“I’ve had so much stress in the last year, so it’s really a struggle,” Wilson told FOX News. “I’m definitely up in weight.”
Wilson had gastric bypass surgery in 1999 to lose weight but became addicted to alcohol after the surgery.
Wilson said, “I can’t have a joint. I can’t have a glass of wine because I want 10 joints and 10 glaases of wine. Thats my obsessive compulsive and addictive behavior. I’ve really struggled since I have become sober.”
Wilson says she is going to make losing weight and getting in shape one of her New Years resolutions for 2012.

She has two children, Lola, 6, and Luciana, 2. Wilson says she doesn’t hide her battle with weight from her daughters. She sees herself in her oldest daughter.
“Lola knows I struggle with it. I see her loving sugar like all of the other children, but I also see her pay a little more attention. Like when theres a birthday party, I see her being the first in line to get the cake. I see me in her.”
Wilson can be seen Tuesday on ABC’s ‘Celebrity Wifeswap’ at 8PM CST. She will be swapping lives with former ‘Growing Pains’ star, Tracey Gold.
