Chardon, Ohio – On Tuesday, authorities released audio surrounding the Chardon High School shooting, including police audio regarding the massacre.
In the audio, law enforcement can be heard describing the shooter and evacuation plans for buildings around the high school. In addition, they speak about what they are observing as they arrive at the location and how they will enter the school.

T.J. Lane, 17, allegedly opened fire around 7:30 a.m. on the morning of Feb. 27 in the school cafeteria as students were eating breakfast and studying. Students present told local media Lane appeared to target a specific table where a student who had begun dating his ex-girlfriend was sitting with friends.

Sixteen-year-old Danny Parmertor, along with Russell King Jr. and Demetrius Hewlin, both 17, have all died from wounds sustained during the attack.
Senior Joy Rickers, 18, and junior Nick Walczak were wounded in the shooting. MSNBC reports that one of the students has been released from the hospital.
Reports indicate crowds are now turning out for a public prayer service being held for the shooting victims at the Church of St. Mary, which is located across from Chardon High School.
