It’s been just a few short years since a couple of passionate chocolate-lovers and foodies got together and decided that there was a way to highlight Dallas’ best chocolatiers, bakers, and entrepreneurial chefs and their unique and tantalizing creations.
Dallas Chocolate Tours was born from this dream. At the affordable price of $25, chocolate-fiends will get a seat on a stretch bus that will whirl them to the most magical, tasty spots in town from the gourmet goodies at Bolsa; to Dude, Sweet Chocolate, whose concoctions include vodka chocolate, coffee chocolate and even a rose blend; to Empire Baking Co., which specializes in low-yeast baked breads for baguettes and exquisite brownies.
Coffee-infused fudge, wine, banana-pineapple spreads, naturally baked breads amidst good company and sweet trivia along the ride can only lead to a happy afternoon.
Extra time spent in the Bishop Arts District provides an overflow of delicious chocolate pie, uniquely scrumptious cream puffs, and eye-candy in its colorful streets and boutiques.
Each tour is different so repeat customers are welcome and encouraged. Additionally, private tours in a stretch limo can also be arranged at $70 each. A delectable way to spend a Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., different themes may apply.
Upcoming tours and dates include, “Good Friday For Chocolate Tour” on Friday, April 6th, “Bread and Chocolate Tour” on Friday, April 7th, “Food Trucks and Fabulous Chocolate Tour” on Saturday, April 14th, and new food tours like the “Farmers Market Finds Tour” on Saturday, April 21st. Indulge and enjoy!
