This article describes six small, Baltimore area companies that were on that list. The length of this article allows descriptions of only a few of the many benefits offered by these companies.

Chapin Davis Investments is a 59 person company in Baltimore. They offer a large 401 (k) match, fee reductions for gym memberships, and flexible schedules.
Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A. is a 97 person law firm in Towson, Bel Air, Cambridge, and Columbia. They plan monthly events that include laser tag, community service days, and barbecue kick-offs for the Ravens and Orioles seasons. They offer on-site vaccinations and provide HD televisions in the attorney lounges. They also help paralegals to attend law school, and they promote from within.
Next Century Corporation is a 65 person software services company in Columbia. They offer optional, free HMO or generous coverage of other health plans, and 100 percent tuition reimbursement.
