Sherri Shepherd is going to be one of the most well-known contestants in the “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom this season, but she is also going to have some of the biggest obstacles courtesy of her busy schedule.
Speaking in a new interview with E! News after the cast announcement Tuesday morning, Shepherd confirmed that she’s not giving up her gig on “The View” in any way while she is also trying to find time to rehearse:
“I’m still cohosting The View…[I’ll] take a red-eye out [Tuesday night] and I do three shows in New York then I get back on a plane. It’s a little bit of a challenge, but I’m certainly up to it. Barbara Walters has taught me well on how to do more than one job!”
Shepherd has been a longtime fan of the show, and has even reportedly considered getting into the ballroom at various points in the past. This time around, it simply seems like she could not say “no” any longer.
