One of the most popular reality shows, “Dancing With The Stars,” has revealed their celebrity hoofers for season 14. The list, as always, is diverse with celebrities from TV, sports and modeling.
Below is the cast for “Dancing With the Stars” season 14.
Gladys Knight–singer for Gladys Knight and the Pips will dance with Tristan MacManus as her partner.
Melissa Gilbert– hasn’t been off the prairie for quite a while, but she is an interesting addition to “DWTS.” Maksim Chmerkovskiy is her partner
Jack Wagner– soap opera hunk and singer, will cut the rug with Anna Trebunskaya.
Gavin DeGraw–who sang the theme song for “One Tree Hill’ should have a bit of rhythm in his soul as a singer.
Donald Drive– football player with the Green Bay Packers, is a wide receiver. Will’s partner is Peta Murgatroyd.
Roshon Fegan–Disney’s “Camp Rock” star, who is only 20 will take his chances with pro dancer, Chelsie Hightower.
Katherine Jenkins– the amazing opera singer from Wales is partnered with Mark Ballas.
William Levy–Actor and former model, gained fame in a Jennifer Lopez video “I’m Into You.” His partner is Cheryl Burke.
Maria Menounos–Actress and “Extra” host will dance with three-time champion, Kerek Hough.
Martina Navratilova–former tennis champion, will be dancing with Tony Dovolani. Navratilova has already starting the smack talk, announcing she thinks her moves on the tennis court will give her an edge on “DWTS.” She may be right, she was an amazing player in her day.
Sherri Shepherd–Cohost on “The View,” will dance with the second Chmerkovskiy on the show.
Jaleel White, who is now 35, played Steve Urkel on the 90s TV show, “Family Matters.” Actors are rarely similar to the parts they play, let’s hope so.
Who has a change at being the “Dancing With the Stars” season 14 champ?
Gladys Knight has been a singer and dancer most of her life, this gives her an edge. Some might think her age is a factor. Ms. Knight still tours regularly and until October of last year was a regular at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.
Jack Wagner has done some singing, so he has some rhythm in his soul. He probably has only a slight chance, but at least it’s a chance.
Football players are always big favorites on the show and have often done well. All that running and dodging has to help a bit on the dance floor. Don’t count Donald Drive out.
My predicted winner is Roshone Fegan. The Disney star is an actor, dancer and rapper. At the tender age of 20, Roshone will be the dancer to beat.
Everybody else has a chance too. (This is me, hedging my bets.)
In Las Vegas, “Dancing With the Stars,” is shown on Cox Cable channel 13.
