The battle between Nicollette Sheridan and “Desperate Housewives” creator Marc Cherry is just starting to kick off in the courtroom, and over the course of the next couple of weeks we should be able to find out whether or not a court feels that the actress was fired under unfair circumstances from the show several seasons ago.
According to TMZ, a number of Sheridan’s former “Housewives” co-stars — including Eva Longoria and Marcia Cross — are set to testify in the trial in saying that they never saw the show creator physically or emotionally abuse the actress during her time on the show. These are accusations that Sheridan has held firm to over the past several months, which is what has led us to this trial to begin with.
The final season of “Housewives” is currently filming, and it’s fair to say that Sheridan is not going to be making an appearance as her old character.
Do you have any sense as to the trajectory of this suit?
