High pressure over Ohio this morning, will drift east into Pennsylvania this afternoon. Sunny to partly cloudy skies can be expected across the Buffalo area today. Highs today will be in the low to mid 30s.
A storm developing in the Plains states will head toward the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes tonight. Clouds in advance of this system will overspread the area this evening, with a mix of rain and snow possible well after midnight. Lows in Buffalo will drop to the low 30s overnight.
On Wednesday, low pressure will move through the Great Lakes and into Ontario. A warm front will lift north toward the area bringing some milder air with it. Rain and snow in the morning will change to all rain by afternoon. Highs will reach the low to mid 40s.
A cold front will sweep across the area Wednesday evening with showers gradually tapering off. A few rain and snow showers will linger through Thursday morning before ending as drier air spreads across the region. Highs Thursday will be in the upper 30s.
