Emily Maynard, the sweet southern girl who stole America’s hearts on The Bachelor is preparing to be the next Bachelorette.

Emily who was picked by Brad Womack on his season of the Bachelor last May was hesitant to do this because of her daughter.
According to People, Emily has accepted to be on the show and is happy that ABC will be accommodating her so she can be with her daughter while the show is being filmed..
A source said the show has decided to move production of the show to Emily’s hometown, Charlotte, N.C. so Emily can stay with her daughter, Ricky.
Emily was picked as the number one girl as soon as America saw her on The Bachelor with Brad.
She was kind and sweet and her story of losing her ex-fiance, Ricky Hendrick, who was killed in a horrific race car crash while she was pregnant, touched the hearts of people everywhere.
In June of last year, Emily and Womack split up for good.
“We are no longer engaged. Just because we love each other does not mean we are right for each other.” Emily told People when they split.
Womack blames the end of their relationship on himself, he blames his anger issues and says he has not done what is needed to make their relationship a good working one.
Calls to Womack regarding his thoughts on Emily being the next Bachelorette have gone unanswered.
Could be interesting if he decided to come on the show and try to woo her back.
Another Bachelor contestant who is hoping to come and woo Emily on the next season is Bentley Williams, Williams was on the last season of The Bachelorette and was trying to win the love of Ashley Hebert, or so he says.
Ashley fell head over heels for him and he turned out to be just on the show for his own benefit. He was also seen telling the cameras that he had hoped the Bachelorette was going to be Emily instead.
Emily has been linked to Carolina Panthers, Jeremy Shockey, though she has denied that relationship.
You can watch The Bachelor on ABC on Monday nights at 8/7CST
Ben Flajnik who was rejected by Ashley Hebert is looking for love once again. Tune in for all of the drama.
