I bet you’re thinking, yeah, right. Some of us probably came to the conclusion, at least now, that the festive celebrations, however desirable, at particular venues, might be too much of budget buster to endure. But have no fear; there are still favorable activities to sample.
One good spot just might be the CIAA Fan Experience. It’s free!! And there are certainly some evening acts that offer a reason to attend. A sample of performers includes Boyz II Men, Yolanda Adams, Omarion, Vivian Green, and Avant. So, clearly there are reasons to head on down and stake your claim to a viewing spot. Don’t forget that games and freebies are usually provided.
If by chance you strolled over to Kalu Restaurant on Friday night past, you had an opportunity to win free tickets to a few of the events. In addition, Whiskey River had one of the offerings for free admission to their ‘Day Party,’ on March 3. Sorry for any update, unsure whether that availability remains. However, if the weather holds, the excitement and flow of the crowd typically spills onto the streets of Uptown Charlotte, for four straight days.
Yet, all is not lost. As typical, the local radio stations have a tendency to provide information and free tickets on something CIAA related. Of course, you must listen, listen, and then, combine with a quick dialing hand, have lady luck on your side. For those possibilities, you might want to check out: www.v101.radio.com, www.my927charlotte.com, and www.power98fm.radio.com, as a starting point. Good luck, and may the cellphone transmissions be with you.
