Victor Ireland of Gaijinworks recently made a few interesting comments on the NeoGAF forum regarding the possible re-releases of Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete (you can check out the box arts for both games in the slideshow to the left of this article) on the Playstation Network as PSOne Classics.
Despite the release of Lunar: Silver Star Harmony on the PSP, the former president of Working Designs is still working on brining Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete on the PSOne to the Playstation Network:
Very complicated. Still working on it.
Still working on PSN, but nothing’s close so there’s no timeframe.
When asked if Sony is behind the hold up of a possible Playstation Network release of Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete, he responded with the following comment:
Sony’s been great with the stuff we’ve been doing with Monkeypaw on PSN. No problems there, total support like the old days. This is a rights issue between multiple parties in Japan. I believe we’ll get it worked out, it just takes time – LOTS of time.
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete was first released in North America on May 30, 1999. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete came out in the same region on December 15, 2000.
