Yep, keep up with kin, play games, video chat with kids and grandkids in distant places. We all know it can be done on the everyday PC, but Telikin has gone the extra mile and actually made it easy.
Easy on the eyes: Large print that stays large without having to make minute adjustments.
Easy on the hands: Touch screen gives arthritic hands a break without compromising the qwerty board. Yes, it’s still there, but in LARGE PRINT.
Easy on user-ability: With built in apps and virus-free security. And if the mouse is a nuisance, just throw it away!
Fun! Share photos without the need of e-mail or complicated programs…What’s not to like about that…for anyone?
Originally built by its creator to help his mother of 84 years, (We’ve stepped into a new dimension of grandparenting here…let’s think: great or even, great-great grandparenting!), the Telikin brings computer technology and convenience within the grasp of the older generation. From this beginning, the Telikin has become a star and is now crossing boundaries, down through the Baby Boomers and right into the Family World. People know a good thing when they see it, and in some ways, even a toddler can use the Telikin.
But in the world of the elderly, a tool like Telikin brings quality to life while adding days to life. A stretch of the imagination? No, not really. Connectivity is an agent to longevity. People need people, and those who don’t get out like they used to suffer lonliness which often also leads to ill health. If adult children and grandchildren cannot live in the same town, or just can’t visit as often as they’d like, they can still connect, and easily, via this simple computer.
Telikin has been around just long enough for folks to start wanting some updates. So Telikin has obliged. They took the hardware from MicroStar International (MSI) and put their software into the MSI computer. Simply…Well, for users, at least! Now, there are two versions available ranging from around $700.00 to about $900.00. The first has a screen of about 18.5 inches, while the newest, Elite model, has a 20 inch screen plus a larger hard drive. Learn more here.
Whether as a gift to parents or a gift to self or family, Telikin is sure to please. It truly keeps people connected with ease. Be sure to take a peek at the video to see just how easy, ‘easy’ is!
