The 12th Annual Great Lakes Seaway Trail 2012 Quilt Show will take place March 17-18 in Sackets Harbor. The theme of the show is the War of 1812, in honor of the 200th anniversary of that war. A good part of that conflict took place along the Great Lakes Seaway.
It will take three buildings to house this year’s displays. Vendors, exhibitions, and of course, quilts will fill the Sackets Harbor Visitor Center, the Sackets Harbor Art Center and the Seaway Trail Discovery Center.
