In the GOOP newsletter, she took advice from experts like Dr. Oz Garcia and shared them with her fans. Her best hangover remedy: A hot and cold spa treatment, according to Access Hollywood.
“Just draw a bath that is as hot as you can handle it and mix in some Epsom Salts and Baking Soda,” she continued. “Soak for twenty minutes and then pop into a freezing cold shower for 1 minute. Hold on, don’t let the alcohol get things twisted; this advice has nothing to do with a gal making love for the very first time. Here, the advice is to resist the so-called traditional hangover cure by chasing alcohol with another drink.

While having another martini to relieve your pounding headache on New Year’s Day may work, it’s only temporary. In the long run, it only makes matters worst. But Gwyneth Paltrow swears by it if nothing else works…but only in moderation.
The Best Traditional Hangover Remedies
If you’re into taking care of your body the natural way, try hydration without the alcohol. Just think about it: Alcohol actually dehydrates you. Your body then sends you signals (in the form of a headache or nausea) that it needs water back in its cells. Try Gatorade, water, and natural fruit juices.
And if you have the energy and will power, try exercise as a cure for hangover. We all can stand to lose weight for the New Year. So, get out there and take a brisk walk or jog. It may reward you in the end.
