Katherine Heigl stepped out on the red carpet in New York Tuesday night for the premiere of her new movie, “One for the Money”. Sizzling in red, with classic Grace Kelly appeal, her celebrity hairstylist, David Babaii dished on how he created her look.
Heigl stars as divorced brunette, Stephanie Plum in her latest release, “One for the Money”. To transform her brown tresses to gorgeous blonde locks for the premiere on January 24th in NYC, Babaii recommends using Aquarely 20/20 by IT&LY Hairfashion for an enduring, healthy and natural looking shade.
To create Katharine Heigl’s red carpet, Grace Kelly inspired style, celebrity hairstylist David Babaii started with IT&LY’S Advanced Color Protection Shampoo and Conditioner. After gently towel drying, he applied a small amount of Miracle Oil Hair Elixir by David Babai. Following the blowout, he used a medium sized curling iron creating curls, directing them off the face and under. He then lightly back brushed the fringe area for some height and smoothed this lightly with a medium paddle brush. Using his fingers to loosen the curls into soft waves and drawing all the hair into a loose chignon toward the back of the head, he secured it with silver coated bobby pins. David finished the style with IT&LY HAIRFASHION’S Pure Definition Hair Spray.[i]
Prom season may not be here just yet, but teenage girls are beginning to fantasize about the perfect dress and hairstyle to match, especially Long Island teens. Twice a month from now until proms begin in May, a celebrity style will be featured for girls to emulate. Katharine Heigl’s hairstyle and dress would be a standout for prom season. Recommended salons on Long Island who specialize in proms and creating star quality work are Clear Skin Salon in West Hempstead, Andrew James Salon in Franklin Square and De La Mer Salon in Bellmore. For the best imitation, always bring multiple pictures depicting the same style from different angles.
