The thought of a lost pet can be enough to strike terror in the heart of any animal lover. Currently, in Fairfield County, there are two families desperately trying to reunite with their missing dogs.
In Rowayton, there is Andy. He has been tracked with much diligence from Westport to his current location, and it seems there is a nation that has come together to offer services, time and moral support. Hopefully, it is down the the wire, and Andy’s travels will be over soon.
In nearby Fairfield, Ozzy is missing, too, and his family could use all the help they can get as there have been no sightings since he disappeared on January 7, 2012.
Ozzy is a five year old Brussels Griffon who was last seen in the area of Greenfield Hill wearing an electric fence collar as well as an orange and brown collar with tags. There is a Facebook page, Bring Ozzy Home ~ where updates are available, and if anyone has any information, please call (203) 247~1747.
If you are in the area and available to help in any way, please consider doing so. Walking and/or driving around, talking to neighbors, and hanging posters are all critical to raising the awareness that is key to bringing home a lost pet. Your time is the most precious thing you can give, and it could make all the difference to a happy outcome.
