Life in our north Texas area is so busy; life is hectic all over and there’s no way around it. Living in the big city of Dallas, living in one of the surrounding suburbs or even way out in the country, we all love tips to make our life just a little bit more manageable. As your Dallas Household Tips ExaminerI search for tips for myself and pass them along to my readers.
During the winter months, your house is closed up, you can’t use your outside clothes line, and everything just becomes a little stale. Your house can even get a little musty smelling. Here are some tips for freshening up a few things, and they are easy too!
Refresh a pillow:
Get the odors out of your pillows with a quick tumble in the dryer. Just take your pillows and throw them in dryer with a damp cloth and a dryer sheet. Run for about 20 minutes, this gives them back their pleasant scent.
Have a down pillow that has become deflated? Just toss it in the dryer with some clean tennis balls. Add a damp cloth and a dryer sheet and tumble for about 10 minutes. The balls will help add volume back and the dryer sheet will add a pleasant scent.
Revitalize the atmosphere and your energy:
Give your home the fresh sent of rosemary and energize yourself. Just place a drop of essential oil on a light bulb and turn on the lamp. The heat from the lightbulb will help spread the plesant odor throughout the room.
