According to ProRasslin.net, Jeremy “J-Millz” Miller an Indiana pro wrestler, is suing a fellow wrestler and a wreslting promotion after he lost a testicle in a match where he claims he was assaulted.
The lawsuit is filed against Clinton Woosley who performs as “Guido Ardentti” and centers around a match that took place in June of last year with Colliseum Championship Wrestling in Evansville,IN. Miller was coming into the event after appearing on the Oxygen Network reality show ‘Love Games’, and his attorney Larry Welder claims in a press release that Woosley kicked Miller between the legs, causing the severe injury. Miller fell to the canvas, and was unable to complete the match after the “below-the-belt” blow. The kick to Miller’s scrotum was not intended to be a part of the choregraphed performance of the match. Miller also names Sam Crosby, the promoter behind CCW in the lawsuit for not insuring that Woosley was properly trained to wrestle.
Miller suffered a burst testicle which had to be surgerically removed. The medical operation cost Miller who does not have health insurance, over $20,000. The suit also claims that J-Millz will have lifelong health issues including problems producing regular amounts of testerone, maintianing a wreslter’s physique, and reproducing. He is seeking a jury trial, in hopes gaining payment for his operation, compensation, and any compensation he may need for future medical needs related to the injury.
In an article with the Courir-Journal, Crosby defended CCW and himself when he refuted Miller’s claims saying he went on to win the match as was scripted and said that Miller said “nothing” about the injury.
