It is about time for the January 2012 Nashville unemployment rates to be revealed by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
No word from the Labor Department on this statistic for last month is yet available, but as we have looked at the unemployment rates for the Nashville and Davidson County area for the past few months, we have seen the unemployment rates going downward. We think we should be hearing good news on the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area on the unemployment front with all of the retail stores in our local Opry Mills Mall scheduled to reopen in March 2012.
One of the exciting things on the employment scene here in Nashville was the job fair recently held at the Opry Mills Mall. The Mall had around 60 retails stores who were involved in the search for employees, with prospective employees able to take several resumes’ with them and have access to many different and varied retail stores.
