Jersey Shore Season 5 ratings followed Mike’s lead – doing the dip on Thursday. The MTV reality show pulled in 6.15 million viewers – down by 400,000 from the week before. The ‘Dropping Like Flies’ episode earned a 3.5 rating with viewers ages 18-49. That was enough to beat everything else on TV during the 10pm timeslot.
This is the second consecutive week Jersey Shore viewership has dropped. It is also the first time in the MTV series’ 5 season history that viewership has not rebounded in week three following a week two slip.
MTV re-aired the same episode during the 11pm timeslot. The Jersey Shore Season 5 Episode 3 encore was watched by an impressive 2.2 million viewers. That means a combined 8.3 milion people watched Mike walk out and Pauly get his hair did on Thursday night.
Jersey Shore Season 5 airs Thursdays on MTV at 10pm ET/PT.
