It’s almost a certainty that this week’s much talked-about edition of Saturday Night Live will beat the season-high ratings of Feb. 11’s Zooey Deschanel episode. C’mon, Lindsay Lohan is hosting!
While she’s in town prepping for the show, she also sat down with Today show anchor Matt Lauer today to talk about her life and career, which appear to be on the upswing. The interview was recorded to air on Thursday’s Today show. The Los Angeles Times reports that Lohan told Lauer:
“People can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my — can’t say the word, but — stuff together.”
Joining Lohan this week for her fourth hosting gig will be first-time musical guest Jack White.
And next week, Moneyball Oscar-nominee Jonah Hill will be returning to host SNL for the second time. His next movie is a big-screen comedy remake of the old Fox TV series 21 Jumpstreet, in theaters March 16.
The Shins will be making their second musical appearance on Hill’s show. Their fourth album Port of Morrow, is due out March 20.
