On February 2, business and community leaders will come together for Leadership Greater Washington’s (LGW) Midwinter Reception and Silent Auction. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and network with top decision makers and business influencers in the Washington region.
Established in 1986, LGW was founded by six area Chambers of Commerce, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation and the Junior League. Modeled after other business organizations, LGW and its founders invested personal and professional resources to fulfill their vision of an organization that would foster communication and cooperation among the area’s established and emerging leaders. LGW has competitively selected nearly 1,300 diverse individuals representing all sectors to participate in the Signature Program to engage in intensive and in-depth discussion of regional issues.
Leadership Greater Washington’s mission is to identify and connect diverse leaders and stimulate their collaborative efforts through dynamic education and membership programs that promote dialogue, cooperation and involvement enabling area leaders to find effective solutions to regional challenges. LGW continuously collaborates with their members make impactful and positive changes needed to build a healthy and thriving community.
