The world has turned upside down: February has 29 days in it instead of 28, and Hill Country Weavers is starting their First Thursday sale on a Wednesday. In honor of the leap year, the yarn store is having a Take a Flying Leap Sale, the first of its kind.
Beginning today and lasting through tomorrow all in-store and by-phone purchases will be a part of this sale: buy three skeins of yarn, get the fourth free. Now is the time to get the yarn for larger projects that take multiple skeins. Or you can take this opportunity to buy a sampler of the great fiber artists available, like Austin’s own Alisha Goes Around or Brooklyn Tweed’s Shelter. All four yarns must be regular price, with the fourth being of equal or lesser value, and kits are not included.
The store will have extended hours tomorrow as usual, staying open until 9 pm. But they will also be open later tonight, until 8 pm, with the added advantage for drivers that you won’t need to fight with the First Thursday traffic to find a parking space.
If you still can’t hop, skip, or jump to the store (or even a phone) for the leap year sale, you can still enjoy 20% off of your online yarn purchases by using the coupon code LEAPSALE when checking out.
