“Saturday Night Live” scored big ratings and kudos two weeks ago with host Maya Rudolph, but will Lindsay Lohan keep the ball rolling for the late night legend on March 3rd?
It will be Lohan’s fourth appearance on the show, but musical guest Jack White’s first time on the “SNL” stage. Lohan made the talk circuit rounds Friday promoting her weekend stint on the show and trying to do some PR damage control for her past jail and rehab scandals.
On “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Thursday night, the actress dished on hounding Lorne Michaels to get on “Saturday Night Live,” and her upcoming role as Elizabeth Taylor. She cajoled Fallon into stopping by to make a cameo somewhere in the show, but had no idea where he might fit in.
Fallon also reminisced on one of Lohan’s previous hosting episodes when he was part of the cast, and they appeared together in the first “Debbie Downer” sketch, when everyone lost control and laughed at the end of the skit.
White wil be the musical guest and his debut solo album, “Blunderbluss,” is due out April 24 and features the critically-acclaimed single “Love Interruption.”
“Saturday Night Live” airs on NBC Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET.
