Des Moines, IA – The Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $94 million ahead of Tuesday night’s lottery drawing, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL). The lump-sum cash option for the current jackpot is worth $68.9 million before taxes.
The top prize for Mega Millions is currently the biggest lottery jackpot in the world followed by Powerball at $40 million. Canada’s Lotto Max has the third biggest jackpot at $30 million.

There was no winner in last Friday’s drawing and the Mega Millions cash prize has since ballooned by $11 million. The combination from the previous draw was 1, 16, 18, 25, 27 and Mega Ball 3.
With Mega Millions, 50 percent of the funds are returned to players in the form of prizes. About 35 percent go towards funding government services in the member state, while 15 percent goes toward retailer commissions and administrative expenses.
