Rule 4. Now it is time to educate yourself about Acid and Alkaline foods. How the former can add weight and the latter help keep the body balanced. It is not wise to combine protein and fruits or protein and carbohydrates/starchy foods -slices of bread filled with meat, or cheese or eggs etc., meat and potatoes, rice and meat, burgers, hot dogs etc. – all acid foods. Health after all is determined by a good, acid free body whilst disease is always associated with an extremely acid body.
They are the sort of foods that you have been toilet trained on by big food companies and you only have to look around at the amount of overweight people to know the results of these foods. All the snack foods are forbidden to you now not only because of their fat/sugar/hydrogenised oil content but they are a no-no if you really want to look the way you dream of. This means you have to close your eyes and your ears to all the subliminal programming going on the radio and television requiring you to buy all these so-called non fat foods that are filled with sugar which is just as bad.
So now you are feeling better about yourself because you are beginning to like your image/yourself a little more. And with that comes a surge of energy that actually will help in absorbing and digesting the foods you eat. Your body is like a factory and knows how to do a lot of things itself but a little aid from its best friend, You, helps a lot.
Rule 5. You can eat meat, chicken, a piece of fish or egg dish sided by some vegetables, a marvellously fresh green salad tossed in olive oil and lemon juice and pinch of sea salt for tasties. Have a delicious pasta dish with mushrooms or asparagus. Carbs combined with vegetables are fine and digest well together. Dairy is fine, cheese in small amounts, butter too as it greases the body. But do avoid the non-fat milks and cheeses as they are processed and chemically manipulated. Whole food in small amounts looks better, tastes better and for sure is kinder to the body.
