It seems only appropriate to end our look at the finest Nike kicks to ever grace NBA All-Star Weekend with the guy whose signature shoes took Nike and eventually his own brand to new heights. The proof is on the court; despite the popularity of guys like Penny Hardaway and Allen Iverson – sneaker icons in their own right – how many All-Stars do you see rocking their shoes on the big stage? From humble beginnings (I) to legendary status (XI) to bumps on the road (XV never saw an appearance at All-Star Weekend) to end the road (XXIII) to a dramatic rebirth (2009-2011), it will be a very long time before we see an NBA All-Star Game that is devoid of the Jumpman logo.
