A Person of Interest is the story of Palestinian parents who travel to America in search for an attorney. Their son, a third year university student, has been accused of bombing a Synagogue the play is a gripping story about the conflict between Palestine and Israel and is personalized when the parents decide they want a Jewish attorney to represent their son.
The cast of A Person of Interest includes South Florida actors, Jeffrey Bruce, Kevin Reilly, Shari Upbin, Christopher Michaels, Rob Davis, Bryan Ortega, Bianca Bariolli. The reading is directed by Wayne Rudisill along with Tony Finstrom as Company Manager and Dennis Pitasi, Accompanist.
After a long career in Washington, D.C., Don Webster moved to Los Angeles in 2000 where he joined his wife-to-be, actress Diana Douglas, and began writing fiction – first a novel, “Blood Son” and a novella, “The Beckoning“. He then turned to playwriting, completing four full length plays, one of which, “Spin,” has been produced in Los Angeles and Victoria, B.C. and received a reading at the Wold Performing Arts Center in 2011. Two others, “Dance the Night Away” and “Love and Other Unnatural Acts,” have been read at the Louis B. Mayer Theater of the Motion Picture and TV Fund in Los Angeles. Tonight’s reading is the first public performance of “A Person of Interest.”
