Florida – According to previously sealed depositions with a psychiatrist who examined Casey Anthony in jail, she had “no feelings of guilt” and was in a good mood in July 2008 – the same month her toddler daughter Caylee Anthony, 2, was reported missing.
Two psychiatrists – Dr. Jeffery Danzinger and Dr. William Weitz – both gave depositions in Apr. 2011, just months prior to Casey’s murder trial for the death of Caylee.

During the trial, prosecutors alleged Casey murdered Caylee using chloroform and duct tape, however, her attorneys argued no murder occurred. Instead, Casey’s legal team alleged that Caylee accidentally drowned in the family’s backyard pool and was never missing.

Casey’s attorneys alleged during her trial that her father, George Anthony had molested her – something he adamantly denied.

Dr. Weitz, however, says during his deposition that Casey “…described physical touching [by her father]… and involvement all the way to intercourse.” She claimed the abuse began when she was eight and lasted until she was 12.

She also told Dr. Danzinger that her older brother, Lee Anthony had molested her several times, beginning when she was 12 and continued to do so until she was 15 years of age. Danzinger told prosecutors the allegations “deeply troubled” him because they were unsubstantiated.
Weitz also noted during his deposition that Casey told him how Caylee died.
He said Casey told him she “always slept with Caylee and she was highly protective and sensitive to her.” However, on “the particular date in question… she was sleeping very hard, she awoke, the father [George] was in the room and Caylee was missing.”
Weitz continued, “They went to search for her and look around to no avail, and then father brought Caylee to her and she was wet – in his arms. She was wet, and she appeared to be deceased. He then took her… and he took Caylee out of the room… she said she basically lost it at that point in time.”
Casey then told Weitz that her father told he he would take care of Caylee’s body and left.
The psychiatrist noted that as Casey described Caylee’s death, she was “detached from… her feeling and emotions… uses lies as a protective measure. She admits to not always being truthful…”
