Low pressure centered over IL this morning, will move quickly eastward across northeastern Ohio today. Rain showers will spread across the Youngstown area later this morning. A few spots could see a little wet snow mix in at the onset. Then temperatures will rise and precipitation will change to all rain. It will be windy today as well with southwesterly winds gusting to over 40 mph at times. High temperatures in Youngstown this afternoon will reach the mid 40s.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with rain showers changing over to snow showers overnight. Little or no snow accumulation is expected at this time. Lows will fall back into the mid 30s overnight.
On Wednesday, another fast moving disturbance will cross the area bringing an increase in shower activity across northeast Ohio. During the morning it will be cold enough for some snow, or a rain/snow mix in Youngstown. Then temperatures will rise and precipitation will change to all rain. Highs on Wednesday will reach the mid to upper 40s.
Rain showers will continue through Wednesday night and Thursday as a warm front lifts northward across the area. Lows Wednesday night will drop to the upper 30s with highs near 50 degrees on Thursday.
