Sh*t people say is a parody of conversations that has taken off this year. Everyone from Paris Hilton to the girl down the street is making a video of the way we speak. It appears no one is exempt as the parodies have crossed every line of gender, ethnicity and anything else you can imagine. While some might find it offense, it is interesting how we view each other. There are lines that are could be clearly labeled as offensive that we use every day, and accept as ok. Are we becoming more tolerant of others views or are we simply turning a cheek on the sometimes very offensive humor? The videos are viral, getting hits in the millions! Some say the memes are pure prejudice, but I feel they can be an education in human relations. Be mindful of what you think and say about people. Subconsciously these videos can sting! Think about it, culturally we have become more tolerant of things like the “n” word but have these videos crossed the line regarding insults. It started late last year with Sh*t Girls Say going viral and now there is everything from what blacks say to what yogis say to Perez Hiltons latest what is said in LA.
Sometimes are lessons come through humor? What are we learning here?
You can Google the videos to see if you can relate.
