There is a really good chance that this newly leaked colorway of the Air Jordan 2012 that includes a huge dragon on the side panel has nothing to do with the hit video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Despite the seemingy obvious nod to one of the well-regarded games last year and spawned a million memes, this is more than likely a continuation (and hopefully cheaper version) of the Air Jordan 2012 “Year of the Dragon” line that released this past weekend.
From the looks of the images, this relase will not include the complete System of Flight, since it only comes with the mid cut sleeve and the Fly Over midsole. The matte finish on the base pratically hides the Flywire construction unless inspected up close and when paired with the black and white colorway pushes the dress shoe/zoot suit influence more to the forefront.

No release date has been set for this special edition AJ 2012, but you can pick up a pair now at Asian retailer taobao for a pretty penny. Here’s hoping Jordan Brand capitalizes on the connection and releases the shoe with an arrow in the package. You know, because the world needs more basketball-related Skyrim memes.
