There’s no better place to knock the dust off your game than at Virtual Sports Zone now that golf swing tune-up season has arrived.
“Our four high definition simulators from Interactive Sports Technologies not only have great courses to play, they also include the Swing Dynamics Module.” said Donald Prezeau, owner of Virtual Sports Zone, which is located at the Outaouais Golf Club.
During games or practice times, the module shows players what they’ve done as they’ve swung as it records numbers that measure every movement from takeaway to follow-through.
The Swing Dynamics Module system helps players track the following factors:
- Ball speed
- Club-head speed
- Efficiency (“smash factor”)
- Launch angle
- Swing acceleration
- Ball spin
- Spin axis
- Load factor
- Club head at impact
- Club head angle at impact
- Swing tempo
- Wrist cock
“Interactive Sports Technologies is the leader in golf simulators. The company has developed a new method of HD modeling for its high definition golf simulators,” said Prezeau.
“This revolutionary image-processing software combines high resolution digital images, satellite data and geophysical data into 3D models of golf courses and practice areas that not only look real – they are completely accurate. Every tree, bunker and hazard is faithfully reproduced exactly as golfers would see it if they were playing the actual course.”
The huge variety of 22 world-famous courses includes Banff Springs, Bay Hill, Bethpage Black, Nicklaus North, Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Torrey Pines and more.
