Ah, Spider Man. America wouldn’t be the same without the wise cracking jokes, the great villians and somewhat best storylines.
Spider-Man: Edge of Time starts out with the Future Spider Man in the year 2099 named Miguel O’ Hara. He has recently found out that a man by the name Sloan is tampering with time, by going back in the time of the first Spider Man–Peter Parker–who is suppose to die by Anti-Venom. Miguel intervens and jumps into Peter Parker’s era and vice versa. With those two working together to bring order back and being stuck in each other’s time, they must stop Sloan–or the real mastermind behind all of this–from messing with time.
Well, that storyline may not be the best, but the gaming is pretty sweet. You play as both Spiders without going back to the main menu and changing things around (Why would you wanna change things up anyways? That wouldn’t make any sense.) The graphics are pretty decent, with a few minor glitches at the beginning, but like I said: they’re minor, you won’t even notice it. The voice acting of Val Kilmer, Christopher Daniel Barnes from the cartoon 90’s version of Spider Man and Josh Keaton from the 2009-2010 Spetacular Spider Man is amazing and the other few actors that are in there for Mary-Jane and Black Cat add on the amazingness.
Though the fights can be long and a real pain, your spider side will shine brightly.
I give this game 4 cracking jokes out of 5.
