On Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the John C. Birdine Center in Georgia, the family and friends of Stacey Nicole English will gather for a prayer walk on behalf of the deceased 36-year-old woman, according to the Huffington Post.
English’s body was found this week on St. Johns Avenue, approximately a mile from the Birdine Center located on Lakewood Way, which is near where her car was found in December. Stacey’s family issued press statements after her body’s discovery, detailing their belief that her death was due to foul play.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner has completed one phase of the autopsy into the unusual death, according to their office, and finding no evidence of blunt force trauma, which would have occurred if the tree Stacey was found lying beneath earlier this week had caused her death.
Likewise, the physical autopsy did not turn up any evidence of death due to gunshot or knife wounds or natural causes, which indicates illnesses and diseases did not cause Stacey English’s unexplained death either.
Toxicology tests will provide the ME investigator with pertinent information regarding what was in English’s blood stream and body at the time of death. And the results can give the Atlanta Police Department the information they need to narrow down the search for any suspect in the case that has yet to be declared a homicide.
Stacey English family believe ‘foul play’ involved
Given the potential likelihood that Stacey English met with foul play during the hours following Christmas Day, as her family believes, the prayer walk scheduled for Jan. 28, 2012 comes at an excellent time for investigators.
As Stacey’s family and friends show solidarity and support for their dead loved one by taking God along with them on the road to remembering her today, police can take note of those who attend–and those who watch from the sideline (or express an inability to be able to make it at all).
English’s family and friends, which include the “Help Us Find Stacey Nicole English” Facebook friends, have wisely chosen to present a united and colorful front in the very community in which their precious daughter, relative, friend or business associate may have spent the last hours of her life.
The group was asked to wear Stacey’s favorite color red to the event and to bring along red flowers as well. And Stacey’s loved ones are graciously including the community in which their loved one was found, issuing them an invite.
“The community is invited to take part in the prayer walk as a tribute to English,” Amisha Harding said. Harding, along with the Stacey English Facebook supporters, organized the walk, according to the Huffington Post.
It is this type of positive and unified action that can motivate anyone with a heart who has knowledge of the case to come forward with new information. It can also make anyone in that community who was unaware of her death begin to reflect upon anything they may have seen around that timeframe.
The fact that Stacey Nicole English’s vehicle was found abandoned within this one-mile area, along with her deceased body, indicates that the geographical area holds specific importance to someone.
And someone in Stacey Nicole English’s circle of family, friends or associates knows if the area holds any prior memories for the young woman who was finally found dead this week after an almost month-long search.
If the area doesn’t hold memories for Stacey, it had to hold some significance for the person who would have placed her body there.
