Indianapolis is putting on an AWESOME display of what the Super Bowl experience should be. The country needs to be ready for all of the events that Indianapolis is putting on. Here are some of the things that are free and family friendly for all of our residents and visitors to experience.
This is a 10 day, 3 block interactive festival of footbal fun! Starts Friday January 27, 2012 and will continue on through Sunday February 5, 2012. Map of Super Bowl Village.
Zuri Hall, emmy award winner, will be the on stage emcee inthe Super Bowl Village and the host of “Village TV”. Comedian and the Super Bowl Ambassador Mike Epps will be making special appearances all week. There are plenty of free concerts to attend as well.
Zoom down Capitol Ave about 800 feet. Cost is $10. Expect some long lines, but the wait will be worth it! Must be 6 years old and weigh at least 65 lbs, but no more than 275lbs.
Fire & Ice Lounges: located throughtout Super Bowl Village providing food and beverages.
Super Dash: 2 human powered wheels, similar to hamster balls. One dedicated to each fan base of the competing Super Bowl teams. On February 5th winners will be announced according to the 100 yard dash. Who ever produced the most energy has it!
Kinect NFL Play 60 Fan Dome: 360 degree inflated dome with full-body gaming on Kinect for the XBox 360.
Papa John’s: mobile kitchen near the Verizon Stage on Pennsylvania Street.
Ice Gurus: Randy Finch and Derek Maxfield “Ice Brigade” on the Food Network will be demonstrating their ice sculpting skills.
Super Bowl Roman Numerals: 30 foot roman numerals located on the Circle.
Tailgate Town: Football fan’s heaven! There will be tailgate competitions and football turf offering interactive game playing.
ESPN Broadcast Studio: 110 hours of TV coverage. ESPN radio shows produced at the Pan Am Plaza starting Monday January 30, 2012 – Sunday February 5, 2012. Shows include:

- Sports Center
- Sports Nation
- NFL Live
- The special 4 hour edition of Sunday NFL Countdown on Super Bowl Sunday
