If you’re an active, certified teacher for kids in grades K through 12, SeaWorld Orlando has a deal for you. You can get a free 2012 Fun Card that gives you free admission throughout the year. This means getting inspired with new classroom ideas, as well as enjoying events ranging from Just for Kids all the way through SeaWorld Christmas. Teachers who take advantage of the program can enjoy all the animal shows and exhibits, as well as rides like the Manta roller coaster (which gives important lessons in physics while you have fun).
SeaWorld is a fun park, but it’s also educational, and it’s adding even more new learning experiences in 2012. Turtle Trek, which opens this spring, is meant to bring visitors into the world of the sea turtle and to inspire them to take action to help animals when they leave the park.
Interested teachers can pre-register for the free Fun Card at www.SeaWorldOrlandoTeachers.com and show proof of their official teacher status the first time they visit the park.
SeaWorld also provides a number of free teaching resources for educators at www.seaworld.org.
